It's not enough to have the FBI in their armored fortress on South Lake Drive, nor the local Secret Service office, nor even the State's Capitol police, various Sheriffs, and dozens of local police departments.
Nope.
We need even more of a National Police State, and Wisconsin's a great place for one!!
U.S. Capitol Police want to establish a regional outpost in Milwaukee as part of an expansion in field offices largely in response to rising threats to members of Congress. ...
"Protection," you see. "Threats," you see.
...the new plans come as threats to members of Congress have risen recently — approximately 300% over the last seven years, according to Manger. ...
Whatever you do, do NOT be specific about what constitutes "threats." Because you can look really stupid--like this:
...Notably, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi, was attacked by a man with a hammer in the couple’s San Francisco home last October....
Pelosi's house had Secret Service protection 24X7. So.....ahhh.........duh. More snoozing "protection"?
Or you can look stupid like this, instead:
...In February, a man attacked Minnesota Democratic U.S. Rep. Angie Craig in her D.C. apartment building.
More recently, a staffer for Kentucky Republican U.S. Sen. Rand Paul was stabbed in Northeast D.C. in March. Two months later, a man demanding to see Virginia Democratic U.S. Rep. Gerald Connolly attacked two staff aides with a bat inside the congressman’s Fairfax, Virginia, office. ...
The Capitol Police--when not committing second-degree murder of demonstrators--is already an occupation force in D.C. (Craig and Paul) and is within a stone's throw of Fairfax.
So their failures-to-protect over there mean they should open an office over here.
Right.
This is merely another step towards (another ) National Police force.
You've been warned.
