"Hottest Day Ever". DOOM DOOM DOOM

Yes, you are doomed.  According to CNN, 'the planet saw its hottest day ever,' and there are 'many more to come.'

Oh.  So what about the real world, not that of CNN and the "scientists" who depend on Federal grants to conjure up the DOOM DOOM DOOM?

Here's a chart that's pertinent to the United States.  The data here was updated to include 12th-17th of May, so the "hottest day ever" is not on the chart.   But you don't have to be a money-grubbing Ph.D. to notice that "hot" months are in the past, and the pattern is--overall--fairly stable at ~1.5 degrees F (anomaly).

But if you like, enjoy your DOOM DOOM DOOM.  You paid for it, after all.
