China and Russia--along with 41 other nations--are about to put up a new, gold-backed, currency which could replace the USDollar. If not now, it'll be in the not-distant future, meaning that the US will have to use their currency to purchase goods from China. And that's a LOT of goods.
That's why Yellen was (literally) kowtowing to some Chinese minister last week; her mission was to prevent the introduction of that currency.
She failed, of course; and the Chinese--adding insult--fetched an Uber for her and told her about a good Chinese restaurant a mile away from the Government offices.
Not to worry. We have cluster-bombs and Biden ain't afraid to use them.
