Not hard to find The Narrative being managed, is it?
The Republican-controlled Wisconsin Assembly planned to vote Wednesday on bills banning transgender athletes from participating in girls' and women's sports, measures that are being debated in the middle of gay pride month and are all-but certain to be headed for a veto by Democratic Gov. Tony Evers....
Blah blah blah. Evers WILL veto it. But Democrats will vote against it, too--putting them exactly where potential opponents want them. After all, don't you want your 5'6" daughter playing rugby against that 6'2" 200 lb. "former" boy?
Democrats do.
Anyhow, back to Narrative Management:
The proposals are part of a nationwide movement targeting transgender people, particularly athletes."Targeting"? As in 'for shooting at'? "Particularly athletes"? Is there another horrific injustice that is a "nationwide movement" of legislation?
The line could read: "The proposals are part of a nationwide movement to protect female athletics programs from male interlopers."
Or maybe just "The proposals are being advanced under the rubric of fair play."
But "fair play" is not how Democrats roll, including their typists at Fox6 Milwaukee.
