The Republic of Texas weighs in.
GOP Texas AG Ken Paxton has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn the election results in Wisconsin, Georgia, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
The suit accuses the four states of exploiting “the COVID-19 pandemic to justify ignoring federal and state election laws and unlawfully enacting last-minute changes,” skewing results.
As part of the suggested remedy, Paxton asks the Supreme Court to bar the four states from using the results of the Nov. 3 election to appoint their electors. If electors have already been appointed, it asks the justices to direct their state legislatures to appoint new ones. All four states have GOP-controlled Legislatures.
Paxton argues in the action that Wisconsin officials illegally used drop boxes for absentee ballots and raises objections to the number of voters who cast ballots claiming they were indefinitely confined. The suit also charges clerks improperly filled in missing information on absentee ballot envelopes....
There's plenty of other election fraud in Wisconsin, but you fight with the army you have, no?
