We've mentioned Sensenbrenner's and Ryan's Left-leaning votes a few times, so in the interest of being fair and balanced, here's a glimmer of light:
U.S. Reps. Paul Ryan of Janesville and Jim Sensenbrenner of Menomonee
Falls were among 62 Republicans to oppose the farm bill as the House
defeated the measure this afternoon.
We'll see how this plays out later on, eh?

I'm glad they voted no, but would ask why. If they thought it was too bloated with pork and subsidies, great. If they voted against it because they thought the cuts were too deep, well, then there's no reason to give them credit. I am suspicious of all pols these days. I trust none of them.
I guess there's no chance they voted "nay" because it cut assistance to the poor while continuing subsidies to the wealthy.
What do you wanna bet both these turds vote aye on an additional $60billion for "homeland security"? How conservative is that?
