The Surveillance State has arrived.
The National Security Agency currently is collecting the telephone
records of millions of U.S. customers of Verizon under a top secret
court order, Britain's Guardian newspaper said Wednesday.
The order was granted by the secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance
Court on April 25 and was good until July 19, the newspaper said. The
order requires Verizon, one of the nation's largest telecommunications companies,
on an "ongoing, daily basis" to give the NSA information on all
telephone calls in its systems, both within the U.S. and between the
U.S. and other countries....
Just Verizon? Not AT&T, not US Cellular?
Maybe all TEA Party members use Verizon. Or maybe TEA Party and pro-lifers?
Curious.

It's worth noticing that leaked document's classification label. Leaks happen all the time, but it isn't every day you'll see a TOP SECRET // SI // NOFORN document printed in a newspaper. And a foreign newspaper!
I never agreed with it when Vatican II said that Muslims worship the same God as Christians. The Christian God is Love and a Communion of Persons. The Christian God includes Jesus Christ. If the Muslims don't accept these ESSENTIAL elements of the being Who is God, I don't know how it can be said they are worshipping the same God. Muslims worship who they erroneously believe is God, not the true God.
