...Rep. Thaddeus McCotter, R-Mich., threw his hat into the ring, and he wasted no time zeroing in on fellow 2012 GOP contender, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.
“Unemployment rising, people struggling in the Obama-Romney economy,” McCotter tweeted Friday.
The congressman expanded on that critique during a Saturday interview with Fox News. “We have Obama as the champion of big government, we see Romney as champion of bail out banks in Wall Street bailout. They are less rivals than they are running mates,” he said.
McCotter voted for the auto bailout, (as did Ryan) and justifies it as a vote to keep working people in jobs. It's not a coincidence that both McCotter and Ryan represent UAW-heavy districts, either.
That Romney is an elitist is indisputable. Romneycare IS elitism, as is ObamaCare. And that hedge-fund business he runs? Well, look around at how many of the hedge funds make their acquisitions profitable, and it ain't pretty.
Of COURSE Romney had to favor TARP; lots of his lenders and bond-writers were in grave danger of losing their Hamptons properties.
This is getting to be a lot more fun to watch!

McCotter doesn't have a prayer, but I hope he is a big thorn in Romney's side.
