Somebody's Spreading ...ahhhh....Lies

Gee.

Veteran Milwaukee County workers have been flooding the county's retirement office this week in hopes of quickly retiring in the mistaken belief they could lose lump-sum "backdrop" and other pension benefits as a result of the legislative approval and signing of Gov. Scott Walker's budget-repair bill, officials said Friday.

How could such a "mistaken belief" find dozens of adherents, despite hundreds of newspaper stories about the reality of the budget repair bill?

How COULD that happen??

A relative thought she would lose her insurance too.

Other than the obvious budgetary considerations of mass retirements and early retirement payouts, isn't this a good thing? I know that WEAC was pushing early retirement for teachers and some school districts will be losing many of their over 55 staff...maybe this will energize education...of course judging by the age of the drum bangers in the protests...maybe not.
