The Cost of Living Under Big Government

Some might politicize this, but it's bigger than Obozo v. Bush.

It's all of them and their chariots and charioteers--including the States and Locals.

...A special index created by the Labor Department to measure the actual cost of living for Americans hit a record high in February, according to data released Thursday, surpassing the old high in July 2008. The Chained Consumer Price Index, released along with the more widely-watched CPI, increased 0.5 percent to 127.4, from 126.8 in January. In July 2008, just as the housing crisis was tightening its grip, the Chained Consumer Price Index hit its previous record of 126.9.

By the way, if you got the reference to 'chariots....' then you know what I'd like to do with them...

One thing is for sure, this is going to have some long term affects upon the spot price of gold and silver. Jim Sinclair is right. It's going to skyrocket.

Of course the other thing is that filling up at RaceTrac which was a bit of a hit to the pocket book, is going to continue to keep getting more expensive. Particularly now that Libya no fly zones are being established.
