Yes, Sykes pointed out the ‘Kerry-esqueness’ of Barrett last week also. I have suspected that many people in charge of local government are secretly happy with the reduction in the scope of collective bargaining for public sector workers – but would never admit it publicly.
That’s what impresses me with Walker. He knows it carries political risks, but it is the right thing to do. Kudos to him and shame on those who secretly agree but don’t have the courage of their convictions to admit it – putting politics and self-interest ahead of the common good.
Why the obsession with the defeated candidate?
