Evidently the Milwaukee County Sheriff doesn't get out much. If he did, he just might have heard about the nudie-x-ray-feel-you-up TSA brouhaha.
Fourth Amendment, and all that.
Evidently, the Sheriff thinks that seizing property is just fine-and-dandy, if that property is a cellphone which MAY have been texted-upon-while-driving.
Like the DNR and Legislators in general, (see previous post here), the Sheriff thinks that 'mo' laws are GOOD laws'--a line of thinking which does not encourage a healthy relationship between law-enforcers, law-makers, and citizens.
It would be good for the Sheriff (and others) to recall that in the end, if the citizens do NOT support the LEOs, it will be the LEOs that lose the battle.
