Obama and Summers Have ONE Thing Right

Found in Gilbert's article today:

"In the past few years, we've seen...too much spending and not enough saving,,," Summers says

"We can't continue to base our economy on... spending beyond our means... [Obama] says.

Neither comment was directed toward the Federal debt, of course.

That wouldn't fit the HopeyChangey template.

They are preparing us for the era of really big government in which one must reduce one's standard of living to feed the beast.

See...this coming from Obama I don't get.

So if, say, I save and save and have quite a substantial sum of money in the bank - won't I be one of those "evil" rich people who doesn't "share the wealth" with others?

I don't think this is preparing us for really big government, deekman, so much as it's preparing us for a seizure of "too large" savings accounts.
