Fun With the Banks

As usual, Planet Moron is skewering them.

As details have emerged about the process by which the nine largest banks in the United States were nationalized, it has become clear that the federal government and the banks entered into one of those totally 100% equal partnerships where one partner gets to tell the other partner what to do.

Kind of like your marriage only without the sex.

Okay, exactly like your marriage.

...We must require that successful, well-run banks help out the banks that were run badly.
Or, in the new collectivist reordering:

From each, according to their ability, to each according to their incompetency.”

Congratulations! Were now more like the old Soviet Union than today's Russia is. And we can thank a Republican Administration.

Can we fix this, or are we in a fix?

From a report I heard, Wells Fargo didn't want any part of this, as they are solvent. Emperor Paulson didn't give them an option. Actually Anon, you can thank BOTH parties. Dems control BOTH houses.
