Rush Reads Dad29

Heh.

Apparently Rush reads this blog. Here's his quote:

"The American left -- which now embodies the Washington government class, the American mainstream media, and the Democrat Party -- are truly frightened of God. That's who they're trying to beat. They're trying to wipe God out of every heart and soul in this country."

He's right, of course.

Same thought right here:

It is, however, important to acknowledge the first things--the Author that The Liberal Project most wishes to replace, and the reality that men are equal in being fools.

And you don't have to be a philologist to understand that "authority" derives from "Author."

We (well, I can't really speak for the rest of them) aren't frightened of god. We've just moved beyond superstition. And we've figured out the world is not flat.

Funny - if you're not frightened by God, you sure act like it.

I can't speak for others, but I'd like to see the real God followed. Not the one that tells people to build gas lines or murder innocents, like Palin's.

Anony 3:30 AM: thanks for your good thoughts, but you were a bit over the top in your approach to Capper.

Yes, he's sanctimonious, and full of non-sequiturs. And yes, no children have been murdered to provide gas lines, and yes, if there's no natural gas, there will be problems this winter (and for several more to come.)

But I don't think he can physically do exactly what you suggest.

Funny - what about Obama's god, who clearly thinks it's okay to murder unborn or just born children?

The "real God" isn't too thrilled with that. He doesn't, however, have any objections to people keeping themselves warm and getting to work via using fuel.

But, then again, if you want to live like the earliest Christians, go right ahead. It'll be really hard to walk through all the Wisconsin snow in sandals, though.

Ironic point - when people like Obama get elected, or usurp power (like the Communists, Socialists, etc), Christians do end up living like the earliest Christians - persecuted, arrested, executed. Granted, we're not quite there in this country (yet), but it still happens in China. And India. And Darfur.
