Canada's Tariffs on US Goods

Some local TeeVee stations are running sob-stories about how--should Canada apply tariffs to US goods--businesses will be hit.  Did you know that Canada does NOT allow US banks to operate in Canada?

Those TeeVee stations don't tell you the whole story.  Canada already applies HUGE tariffs to US goods.  But those TeeVee stations specialize in withholding information which doesn't fit The Narrative.

Surprised?  Don't be.  Their pathetic one-side-of-news gets worse when you see their treatment of USAID.

Although this is a mini-sized re-run of a previous Trump initiative--which was withdrawn--it gladdens the heart.  Various Cardinals and Bishops will soon be on corners with tin cups in hand, begging money for "Catholic" Charities.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced Wednesday the department has stopped all grant funding to nonprofits that operate outside of government control, saying they have been "perverted into a shadow government" that feeds illegal immigration.

Noem said some non-governmental organizations (NGOs), which receive millions in federal grants, have been facilitating illegal immigration by helping aliens cross the U.S. border.

"Many of these NGOs actually have infrastructure and operations set up in Mexico, on that side of the border, and are telling those illegal immigrants to come to them, and they will get them across the border," Noem said on Fox News Channel's Will Cain Show. "So they're not just operating in the United States, they're operating outside the United States to help make it easier for those who want to break our laws."...

By Tuesday, we'll know a lot more and one suspects that this will be fun to watch.

Trump: It Just Gets Better!!

 Honestly, we haven't followed the Trump appointments very diligently, especially those labeled "Special Envoy."

We should have.

...With Lt General Keith Kellogg special envoy to Ukraine and Russia, and with the appointment of Steven C. Witkoff to be Special Envoy to the Middle East, President Trump has essentially created a construct that works around the insufferable issues with a globalist State Department.

Senator Marco Rubio was nominated for Secretary of State, thereby removing him from the Senate Intelligence Committee and leadership role in Gang of Eight intel; but Trump simultaneously put in guardrails against the neocon tendencies of the Florida Senator and junior McCain.

Rubio doesn’t have Ukraine/Russia in his portfolio, nor does he have diplomatic or policy control over the Middle East.  President Trump has neutered the State Department, and the cherry on the proverbial cake is what he just announced....

Rubio is a Deep State resident.  He can't really be trusted with anything important, because the US State Department is easily the largest NON-domestic-facing problem the US has.  The Gang of Eight and its "LEO" allies--FBI, NSA, DoJ, (and CIA when needed) are the largest domestic-facing problems, of course.

Moving on....

...President Trump has just confirmed that Ric Grenell will be the “Emissary” we have discussed.  Great job Mr President (for all the obvious reasons).

With Nunes leading a private intel advisory committee and with Grenell being the most powerful, agile and flexible person to run strategic foreign policy operations, the tentacle influence of the Deep State is removed from the Oval Office.  Now the official cabinet team can start pouring sunlight into the silos....

The "Intel Community" (IC) has been poisoning the well for Presidents since Eisenhower, resulting in nearly a $$trillion in war-spending around the globe, not to mention 100's of thousands of lives lost (ours and others) in 'revolutions,' 'wars,' and various genocides.  In combination with the Pentagon and a variety of Senators and Congressmen who are .........ahhh...........beneficiaries of the military-industrial complex's high-dollar campaign contributions.....

You get the picture.  

So here's what's different with Grenell:

 ...The “emissary” is the person who carries the word of President Trump to any person identified by President Trump.  The emissary is very much like a tape recording of President Trump in human form.  The emissary travels to a location, meets a particular person or group, and then recites the opinion of the President.  The words spoken by the emissary, are the words of President Trump.

The IC cannot inject themselves into this dynamic; that is why it is so valuable.

The emissary then hears the response from the intended person or group, repeats it back to them to ensure he/she will return with clarity of intent as expressed, and then returns to the office of the presidency and repeats the reply for the President.  The emissary recites back exactly what he was /is told....

There will be zero input from State, CIA, FBI, Mil Intel, ........all of them.  They have just been cut out of the line of comms.

Let's hope Grenell has excellent public (and private) security.  His Six is never going to be clear of dangers.

Let's Impound---a Lot!!

The Post also fails to note that this power was used first by Thomas Jefferson, and then by every president for over a century. It's the normal way our system has operated, in other words; it was cut off by statute as part of the fight against the hated Richard Nixon. The statute probably isn't constitutional, and certainly an originalist jurist will find much to support in an argument that the power was historically and widely used for a very long time....

Grim is a lot younger than we are, so he has a lot more to worry about.

Is Sheboygan FD Prepared?

Alliant Energy has announced it will be developing a battery energy storage system that will be located on a seven-acre lot adjacent to Sheboygan’s Edgewater Generating Station.

Pending approval by the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin, the 99-megawatt battery system will have enough storage capacity to power over 100,000 homes for four hours. Alliant plans to begin construction in 2024, and the new system is expected to be in service shortly after Edgewater is retired in 2025....

Alliant is also putting up battery-storage in Grant and Wood Counties.  Let's hope they have really big fire departments, too.

Toxic smoke, mass evacuations, and the typical "you can't extinguish this fire" of lithium batteries.

If the Bishops haven't already figured it out, "Catholic" Charities has become radioactive.  They would do well to imitate the President and simply close it up and nail the doors shut.  Let's end this Mgr. Egan/Saul Alinsky outfit which is now in proximate indirect cooperation with narcotics-, sex-, and labor- trafficking.

Goals for Vos Party

Let's not pretend that it is a "Republican" Party in Wisconsin.  It's a VOS Party.  

The VOS Party will not rock the boat; it just keeps adding spending and full-time-equivalent State employees (a tradition which goes back to Scott Walker.)  In a nutshell, the VOS Party is Deep State, just like the Democrat Party in Wisconsin.

This popinjay Jebbie, James Martin, is usually wrong.  Doesn't stop him from mouthing off, though.  Here's the latest:
