What Passes for "Judicial Conduct" These Days

Another black-robed POS.

...Jurors rejected Thompson's novel defense, in which he blamed Trump and members of the president's inner circle for the insurrection and for his own actions.

The judge didn't buy it either, but he cast his own blame in Trump's direction after the verdict was announced.

'I think our democracy is in trouble,' said District Judge Reggie Walton, adding that 'charlatans' like Trump don't care about democracy, only about power.

'And as a result of that, it's tearing our country apart,' the judge said....

Project much, meathead?

"Suburban Women"? Not Exactly

Pundits here and nationally have opined that "suburban women" are Democrat voters.

Not exactly correct.

The Democrat voters among 'suburban women' are college-educated SINGLE women.  They may or may not have child(ren).  But they are definitely not married.

By coincidence, Prager has a separate essay out suggesting that feminism has been encouraging 'singlehood' for women for the last 40 years.  It appears that feminism has done a good job!  Ruined the women, their children (if any), and the country in one fell swoop.

Not even Putin had that ambitious an agenda.

The Sex Predator Teaching in Your Schools

The number here is astonishing.  I knew--as did most people--that there were predators in teaching positions in public schools.

But this many?

[The] facts reveal that too many American public schools have been hunting grounds for sexual predators. Parents fearful about abuse in schools are not falling victim to a "moral panic" or "QAnon messaging"; they are using their intuition to assess a real danger to their children. The most comprehensive report about sexual abuse in public schools, published by the Department of Education in 2004, estimates — on the basis of a 2000 survey, conducted by the American Association of University Women, of 2,065 students in grades eight through 11 — that nearly 10 percent of K–12 students have been victims of sexual misconduct by a public school employee. Assuming that figure is accurate, this would translate into an approximately 4.5 million children nationwide suffering sexual misconduct by public school employees, with an estimated 3 million suffering physical sexual abuse — a number, according to the author of the study, Hofstra University professor Charol Shakeshaft, more than 100 times greater than the physical abuse committed by Catholic priests, who, at the time the report was published, were undergoing a reckoning for the crimes within their ranks....

Egads.

TEN PERCENT of the kids have been vicitmized, and 7.5% have been physically abused.

It looks like "teachers" haven't been very well vetted at hire, doesn't it?

Vaxx-Attack on Little Girls

Here's an attack on little girls that Disney and/or pervert public-school teachers did NOT do.

Young girls, some as young as five years old, are developing genital ulcers due to Pfizer’s Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) mRNA vaccine.

This is according to published peer-reviewed articles and data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), the federal government’s program for collecting reports about adverse events related to vaccinations....

There was plenty of warning, but some people don't listen.

Used Car Prices Begin Falling

CarMax is a big enough outfit to be a bellwether.

...The Richmond, Virginia-based...[CarMax]... cited declining consumer confidence and affordability, among other factors, for a 6.5% drop in the number of used cars it sold last quarter in stores that have been open at least 13 months. The average price of a car rose 40%, or $8,300, in the period ended Feb. 28 compared with a year ago, CarMax said in a statement Tuesday....

Revenues were up due to the higher price of cars.  But when volume turns down, as it did, look for prices to come down, too.

Biden: Put Food In Your Gas Tanks!!

With a worldwide food shortage coming, Biden🤡 has the solution!!!

.... President Joe Biden journeyed to corn-rich Iowa on Tuesday to announce a modest step aimed at trimming gasoline prices by about a dime a gallon at a limited number of stations by waiving rules that restrict ethanol blending....

... Biden was announcing that the Environmental Protection Agency will issue an emergency waiver to allow widespread sale of a 15% ethanol blend that is usually prohibited between June 1 and Sept. 15 because of concerns that it adds to smog in high temperatures....

A Two-Fer!!  Not only will he take more corn off the food market, but he'll add smog to the atmosphere!.

Biden🤡 for Boob of the Century!!

Milwaukee Terrorist Did NYC Shooting

While New York City has been reluctant to call the subway shoot a 'terrorist act,' the FBI had the guy on its terror watch list.

The NYC subway mass shooter, who opened fire on unsuspecting passengers while at a Brooklyn station, was on the FBI’s terror watch list until 2019.

“The suspect in the Brooklyn subway shooting was on the FBI’s terrorist radar in New Mexico until 2019, according to a report – and was cleared after ‘multiple interviews’,” the Daily Mail reported....

Cleared after multiple interviews.

Good job, FBI!!

J6 Charges Are BS, Plus "Assets"

Legal filing from defendants' attorneys:

...“The Rhodes defendants seek dismissal of Counts 1-4 on the grounds that the indictment fails to state an offense as to each count,” Fischer wrote in his motion.

The four counts covered in the motion to dismiss all refer to obstructing a proceeding or preventing an officer from discharging duties.

Under Title 18 of the U.S. Code, the seditious conspiracy charge “requires proof that the purpose of the defendants’ seditious conspiracy was to forcibly obstruct a person authorized to execute a law, while that person was attempting to execute the particular law opposed by the defendants,” Fischer wrote.

“Per binding precedent, however, Members of Congress are constitutionally prohibited from ‘executing any law of the United States,’ ” the motion said. “Additionally, per binding precedent, the Electoral College certification process did not constitute the ‘execution of any law of the United States.’ ”...

And--according to defendants--at least 20 FEEB "assets" in the crowd on J6.

It's been said that the FBI is extremely good at 'solving' crimes that the FBI commits.

How To Be a "Reporter"

Instapundit found this handy chart/template which is used by "reporters."

Zelenskiy Adviser? Another Butcher

This guy is regarded as 'an important adviser' to Zelenskiy.

...Oleksiy Arestovych, the important Zelensky adviser, who was jointly responsible for original fraudulent story of Iskander missile at Kramatorsk, admired ISIS cruelty techniques and tactics in interview a couple of years ago.

Arestovych admired ISIS commanders as "wise and successful commanders" who thought through "detail, even the degree of cruelty" and that "cruelty for show" was "a wise strategy, taking their particular interests into account".

Arestovych said that governance according to the precepts of ISIS - "terrorism, middle age cruelty, the burning of people, shooting and cutting off heads" was "absolutely a network of the future".

Arestovych played a leading role in attribution of Kramatorsk to Russia, beginning with the fraudulent information about "Iskander" missiles. Would Arestovych have any scruples about sacrificing some Russian-speaking residents of Donets oblast? I doubt it.
--quoted at Meaning in History

It is becoming apparent that Nuland, Rice, and the twit Blinken have zero interest in halting the war; they are pushing as hard as they can to keep India 'in the fold' (i.e., the New World Order according to Davos), having pretty much lost a lot of the Third World.

Oh, yah--Red China is stocking up on nukes.

Another "Stick It To 'em" Tommy Race??

All of SE Wisconsin remembers Tommy Thompson's infamous "Stick It To 'Em!!" war-cry.  That was given to a Northern Wisconsin audience and Tommy was referring to Southeastern Wisconsin.  Specifically, he was supporting his good pal Bud Selig's quest for a 5-county sales tax to finance the new, improved, hot-diggety-dog!! Stadium that Bud wanted.  When the stadium was finished, the value of the team increased significantly, and Bud sold it.  Now, about 20 years later, the tax has finally expired.

Thanks, Tommy!!

Belling reports that it appears that the Doyenne of Wisconsin Pubbies, Diane Hendricks (64th richest woman in America, net worth north of $11 billion) has dumped Rebecca Kleefisch and has 'encouraged' Tommy to run.

Again.

Tommy was very good at Bond-and-Spend.  He spent a lot of money on projects for Lefties (college campuses, buildings, schools in general, and highways!!!) and bonded the expenses--thus avoiding tax increases.  In fact, Tommy reduced taxes.  Of course, the debt still had to be paid, but Tommy left office.  And in every single year he was Governor, he added employees to the State payroll.

That's "conservative"?

Hell, no.  That's Deep State Pubbie-ism at the State level.

So Hendricks doesn't like something about Rebecca and dislikes even more about Nicholson.  So much so that she'd like to resurrect a super-annuated glad-handing Madison-oriented pol?

This is ...............ahhh.............interesting.

8.5%? Not If You're an "Urban Worker"

Well, well, well.  For some reason or other, the Biden🤡 Administration didn't mention this.

...Food is up a solid 10% over the last 12 months, energy is up a whopping 32% with fuel oil being up 71% (sucks to be you in the NE) and piped gas up 21.6%, electrical power is up 11% as well (so much for "green" anything) and there is zero evidence of used cars and trucks coming down as new vehicle prices are shooting the moon as well.

For urban workers its even worse; their weighting is different and there its up 9.4% over the last 12 months, wildly outstripping wage gains.  Since these are clerical workers and other relatively lower-wage jobs its especially punishing if you live in a high-tax, high-cost area.  ...

"Urban worker" means clericals, laborers, and other not-highly-skilled workers.  Those are the people who can afford this the least.

Let's Go, Brandon!!

Urrfff Day!!

Yes, the annual flogging of "Earth Day" is coming up.

Remember the first one?

On the first Earth Day, April 22, 1970, the world was warned that billions would die soon because of a disastrous ice age.  The Earth had been cooling for thirty years, and it was about to get much worse.  Crops would not survive the ice age, so the people couldn't be fed.  The Earth was cooling even though CO2, the population, and fossil fuel consumption were rising rapidly, (which we are NOW told causes warming.)...

The good old days.

Morning Morons: Ghost Guns Are Made of Plastic!

You have to see this to believe it.

The Morning Joe Morons declare that 'ghost guns' are not detectable by TSA since they're made of plastic, you know.

The White House adviser nods in agreement.

"Free Speech" Surveys Cause Meltdowns

This 'survey' stuff is explosive.  That's why chancellors resign.

Asking college students and employees to rate the free speech climate on their campus is so controversial it has prompted at least one lawsuit and the resignation of a chancellor....

...The faculty version of the survey, which is voluntary for all, has 24 questions and asks for demographic information including race, gender, political affiliation and academic department, according to a copy obtained by The Chronicle of Higher Education.

It asks faculty specifically if they "inject their own political ideas and beliefs" in the classroom, whether they believe their political beliefs affect their ability to get tenure, and whether their institutions support research and publications across the political spectrum.

Questions on the shorter student survey include whether professors "use class time to express their own social or political beliefs without objectively discussing opposing social or political beliefs," the Tampa Bay Times reported....

Imagine that!  The NERVE of these people, asking questions about the Holy Indoctrination Into Woke and Anti-Americanism.

Good reason to resign--before the rope-tree-some assembly required thing, right?

The Jussie Hustle: "Bullying" in Waukesha?

This is a variation on the "noose" and "racist spray-painting" game.

...The ACLU also said that the district removed diversity, equity and inclusion content from websites, canceled DEI trainings and consulting and disbanded the District Equity Leadership Team. It also said "at least one school apparently advised yearbook staff not to use “they/them” pronouns and that parent approval would be required for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors to use names or pronouns other than those in their official records."

"Since the District instituted these changes, an increased number of LGBTQ students have faced bullying and harassment," the ACLU said....

Oh, really?

...Koch also said the district has heard comments at school board meetings and in emails and other reports about the sign policy's increasing effect on bullying and harassment, but data on reports of bullying or harassment do not bear that out.

"When I look at the numbers side to side from where we were last year or the year before, the actual stuff that's reported to us is not showing that the sign policy has impacted the data....

IOW, they're making it up, just like Jussie.

Lying:  the Default Action of the Left.
