Mussolini also "married" Government and the private sector. THAT is the definition of "Fascism."
Ellison's tech-game is a very nice enhancement; instead of using an enormous civilian spy-network (as does the FBI/NSA under the laughingly-titled 'Anti-Terrorism' bill), simply capture all the data and deploy the police only when needed.
In the case of Ellison, "when needed" would be whenever anyone disses Israel.
