Transheiser/Bud Light made a very serious error and is paying the price. According to the noise we've heard here, Target will be the next target.
Part of the reason?
Target is selling a “tuck-friendly” bathing suit as part of its massive pride collection, which has already made waves for its overt marketing to children....
...The pride section, routinely placed toward the front of the department stores, features items for not just adults, but children as well. And this year, Target is rolling out a “tuck-friendly” bathing suit designed to help biological men “tuck” their genitals away to appear more feminine....
They also have a child's shirt featuring a naked woman (!). Who knows what that's for?
It's not likely that Target's sales will drop by 25% like those of Transheiser; it is very difficult to replace their market basket of offerings. Costco is one possibility, and a combination of Wally-World and Amazon is another.
In any case, let the war on principalities and powers continue!!
