The Real Bill Barr Emerges

We had suspected it for years, beginning with his defense of the FBI murderer shooter who took out a mother holding her infant in a doorway years ago.

While everyone in this country is entitled to defense--even Horiuchi--there are plenty of lawyers.  Some of them are engaged in defending political prisoners in D.C. 

We don't see Bill Barr defending the J-6 political prisoners, do we?  Is he applying his 'Catholic charity' to those men and women?  Nope.

So yah--Barr's sympathies seem to run in one direction.

Now he comes out and cries, shedding alligator tears about how Trump treated the Department of "Justice."  Awwwww......Billy.....should Mommy put a band-aid on that owie??

...“Now, let me just say, I think the driver on this from the beginning was, you know, loads of classified information sitting in Mar-a-Lago. People say this was unprecedented, but it’s also unprecedented for a president to take all this classified information and put him in a country club. And how long is the government going to try to get that back? You know, they jawboned for a year. They were deceived on the voluntary actions taken. They then went and got a subpoena. They were deceived on that. They feel and the record, the facts are starting to show that they were being jerked around. And so how long, you know, how long do they wait?”...

It's propaganda, of course.  Barr has NO IDEA of what was or what was not 'classified'; he has no idea of what was or was not negotiated.  He wasn't there, remember?  His perfidious ass was fired a long before Trump left office.  So all he "knows" is what someone in DoJ told him.  At this time, DoJ's reputation for honest dealing is zero, as is that of the FBI.  Nobody would buy a used car from Merrick Garland, pal.

Notably, Barr doesn't mention the 'personal' vs. 'government' records question, and his asinine caricature of how Trump 'stood over 150 boxes and declared them not classified' is just that:  asinine.

Barr should be in the confessional for a couple of hours just for that interview.

...In May of 2019, at the conclusion of the Mueller investigation – a roadblock to document release that was removed, Bill Barr asked President Trump not to declassify and release the evidence of DOJ and FBI misconduct in the Trump-Russia scheme, and instead allow him to have control over the classified documents to include the timing of their release.  President Trump placed his trust in the AG, but Bill Barr never released anything because Bill Barr never intended to release anything.

For Bill Barr to speak on the documentary evidence that Trump declassified and then took copies to Mar-a-Lago, is essentially for Bill Barr to reflect anger at the possibility those documents would eventually come out, thereby besmirching his beloved institutions and creating damage.  Of course, Bill Barr is going to oppose President Trump, the potential release of those documents, and align himself with the DOJ interests, because that was the entire purpose of Bill Barr during the Trump administration....

He's a cretin.
