Having failed with his "silver bullet" methodology on AIDS, Fauci is now chasing the Great White Covid with the same single-minded, blinded, passion as Captain Ahab.
And he'll fail again.
CoVid, being a virus at home both in humans and in animals, is not like smallpox, which only was at home in humans, and was therefore an easy target to take out. It is also not like measles, which has a very rigid structure; in contrast, Covid mutates easily. Fortunately it mutates like most viruses (so far): it is easier to transmit, but less and less violent. Deaths go down even as cases go up. At some point in time, probably soon, CoVid will be a manageable annoyance which, like the flu, will kill some people every year.
But Fauci only has a few years left, if that; and he hasn't gotten a Nobel. So he's going to keep preaching the "silver bullet" vaccine--and booster, and booster, and booster--until he dies.
This is why the American public can and should ignore the poor old dwarf. We are not slaves to his ambition, nor that of anyone else. Just ask King George III.
