Vance's insight into the Left's manias is almost totally correct.
Candidate for U.S. Senate from Ohio J.D. Vance appeared on "Tucker Carlson Tonight" to talk about his run for office and to respond to criticism from the media for remarks he made about "the childless left."
Vance said these people lack "physical commitment to the future of this country" due to their disinterest in procreation.
"We are run in this country, via the Democrats, via our corporate oligarchs by a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they've made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable too," Vance said....
If one looks just at the national debt, that is as obvious as the Alzheimer's in the Oval Office. There are plenty of other signs of "No Future Syndrome" out there, too. A Pentagon which is three layers deep in political correctness rather than warriors; businesses which export jobs to foreign countries; the imposition of non-sustainable "energy policy"; we could go on.
Vance's complaint would be far better-phrased if he had said "Godless Left"; that is why Pelosi, who does have children, declared that the Capitol building is "a temple.". She has created her own false god and declared that its presence and authority is congruent with hers. She is not alone in that strange religion, but she's the only one who said it out loud.
So Vance was not entirely wrong. He simply missed the larger picture.
