Wiggy Warns

Wigderson noticed that the odious Stadium Tax will now expire in 2018.  That's EIGHT years late.  Of course, that will change to 2020, or 2050, or whatever, as time goes on.

He also mentions that the New Bucks' Palace crowd is bulking up by adding allies who would love to get money by tax-extortion.

Yes, the name "Petak" still echoes around the Capitol Dome--for good reason.  It's sorta like George W Bush.  (He doesn't mention that TThompson engineered the Adelman appointment.  Huh.)

Well, folks, bring it on.  Try for another tax.  Make our day.

I had a friend whose father was one of the engineers who designed and built the old Milwaukee County Stadium.

The old Milwaukee County Stadium was built to stand for over ~90 years.

The old Milwaukee County Stadium was "abortioned" down when it was only ~40 years NEW to make way for this Miller Park monstrosity which has cost taxpayers close to ONE BILLION DOLLARS...
...that's right BILLION with a B...
...and counting...
...and also cost several lives, to boot...
...and the roof and many other things STILL don't work right.

They never ever stop coming up with the stupidest sickest most irrelevant most expensive ideas to simply line their pockets by fleecing taxpayers.

Criminals...every last one of them. They should all be hung from the top of City Hall.

The old Milwaukee County Stadium was "abortioned" down when it was only ~40+ years NEW to make way for this Miller Park monstrosity which has cost taxpayers close to, if not over, ONE BILLION DOLLARS...

...Miller Park was originally only supposed to cost $140MM.

They never ever stop coming up with the stupidest sickest most irrelevant most expensive ideas to simply line their pockets by fleecing taxpayers. The fleecing becomes grander and grander...it's all Monopoly money to them...

Criminals...every last one of them. They should all be hung from the top of City Hall.

Excellent history of Miller Park financial abuse, corruption, and a visionary prediction of an one billion dollar white elephant:
The Eternal Stadium Tax

In the end, The Milwaukee Brewers never put a dime into building Miller Park...not even the original ~$90MM and the ~$72MM they promised that they eventually lied, weaseled, and cheaped their way out of paying. The Milwaukee Brewers received ~$40MM in naming rights from Miller (now MillerCoors) and this ~$40MM was signed over...nary for a dime to ever actually come out of The Milwaukee Brewers pockets.

Bud Selig continues to rape, now and in retirement, massive financial benefits from taxpayers as he has done from the very outset of planning/building this unwanted eyesore monstrosity.

For the last ~10 years, there has been absolutely no (read: NONE) oversight nor transparency nor audit(s) regarding the collection/spending of the tax monies on Miller Park.

At one point, there was an ~$230,000 per year Communications Director (most likely nepotism) who simply spent millions of tax dollars on outsourced stadium public relations firms and work (most likely cronyism).

What was the need for either? (/crickets chirping)

In LESS THAN ONE YEAR, the idiots had raised the cost estimates of Miller Park from ~$250MM to ~$350MM, an ~40 percent increase. When it's taxpayer dollars, seen by politicians as always an bottomless wallet, it's perfectly fine to have Moe, Curly, and Larry, as your estimators.

Eventually, Miller Park cost taxpayers ~7x its original estimate.

~7x.

They should have named it Miller Farce.

Don't forget, Milwaukee County Stadium hosted myriad wonderful public events including excellent concerts, religious services, soccer, Green Bay Packers football games, TV shooting locations, movie shooting locations, professional wrestling, Ice Capades, et cetera.

All Miller Park pukes out is The Milwaukee Sewers.

All Hail The Miller Park Roof

Ever see the pictures of Wiggy wearing the biker outfit from the Village People? It makes my dick bust concrete thinking about it.
