Aristotle's Guide: How to Be a Tyrant

Aristotle was a very smart guy.

I wonder if he could spell "Obozo".

That's from the Politics, book 5 part 10. Also in book five is the warning that democracies must not give in to the temptation to redistribute wealth. In book six we learn that Jeffersonian democracy is the best kind -- yeoman farmers and all that.

No, really. He doesn't use those terms, but go read it.

Aristotle was put to death for child molestation.

You're thinking of Socrates, and you're misunderstanding the case in any event. Aristotle died of natural causes.

Why single out Obama? You can go all the way back to Jackson. In Europe, you can go back to the original Protestant democracies which were soon, like 5 or 10 years, dictatorships. With the possible exception of Reagan, which president, which Congress tried to reverse the centralizing and dictatorial tendencies of democracy?

Why single out Obama? Because the crown currently sits upon HIS head. He's the king of current events.
