Seems that Warren Buffett is far less generous to the tax-man with his OWN money than with that of others.
Shut up, Warren.

Your link doesn't tell us much. "Early in his career"? He's 80 years old. People who change their minds over say 60 years are hypocrites? We could ask Romney, McConnell, Reagan (from the grave) if they've ever changed their minds.
Further, there is no context in this recounting of the tax deal so it means absolutely nothing.
Many of us make decisions based on the tax consequences of our choices without being hypocritical. Sell now or after the new year? Sell less than a year or after a year? Take a 401(k) distribution now or in 2 years? Open a regular IRA or a Roth IRA?
So, as a capitalist, Buffet can't look out for his own financial interests, Dad29? I think someone is a wee bit jealous.
That's an inane inference.
Buffett can look out for his own interests, and I can look out for mine.
When he suggests that my money should be taxed and his should not, he can get f(*&^d.
He hasn't done that.
Yeah, but when he DOES...
"When he suggests that my money should be taxed and his should not, he can get f(*&^d."
Dude, that's the American way. Get on board, or get out.
