Looking Up for MetalBenders

A clever JSOnline writer, Rick Barrett:

Metal-forming has been hammered by the recession.

That in the midst of an article which is optimistic.

The writer COULD have phrased it this way:

"Metal-forming has been hammered, nibbled, punched, annealed, ground, drilled, milled, and hydroformed (but not finished) by the recession.

But some damn editor would have struck the excessive copy, I suppose.
