Woopsie! Don't Buy Sunscreen in Bahamas

Seems that the Bermuda vacation might be short.

The British Government responded with ill-disguised fury tonight to the news that four Chinese Uighurs freed from Guantanamo Bay had been flown for resettlement on the Atlantic tourist paradise of Bermuda.

...But it appears that the Government of Bermuda failed to consult with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office on the decision to take in the Uighurs – whose return is demanded by Beijing – and it could now be forced to send them back to Cuba or risk a grave diplomatic crisis.

Next on the list is Jamaica, then Oooh I'm Gonna Take Ya, then Key Largo, Montego...

Why? The Uighurs were never terrorists, never enemy combatants, never convicted of anything and determined years ago to be guilty of nothing more than offending the Red Chinese.

Geesh.

Sure, Jay. They were in Gitmo because they double-parked.

Or was it 74 in a 35 zone?

As to "not guilty of anything": I'll leave that out there for all to see.

Just because you believe it doesn't make it true.

So, in fact, they WERE present in a terrorist training facility; they DID (a little) work on how-to with an AK.

Don't over-read my post. They were released for a reason (it's even possible that GWB would have done the same thing.) Apparently they were 'wrong place, wrong time' people AND they were on the PRC shitlist, too.

I don't have a problem with the release. But England does.

THAT was the point of the post.

They probably wouldn't do well in the Bahamas. Buddy of mine with the Royal Bahamas Police says that "we have a hanging once in awhile to keep the locals in line."
