The Usual MSM "News" Coverage of $2.2 BILLION Problem

Some things just never change. While a couple of JS reporters are not afraid to point to Doyle's utterly incompetent, feckless, inane administrators, others bury the hard news.

At the VERY BOTTOM of a 'story' about minor changes to the State's horrific budget (which budget will remain horrific, except you can hunt more land), we find this:

The changes they mulled Tuesday came as the nonpartisan Legislative Fiscal Bureau released a memo that said the version of the budget approved last month by the Joint Finance Committee included a $2.3 billion shortfall in the next two-year budget.

That means lawmakers would have to close a $2.3 billion gap when they debate the budget that begins in 2011.

No mention that that gap is the LARGEST ONE IN WISCONSIN HISTORY. Not even a mention that it is LARGER THAN DOYLE'S proposal.

Guess it isn't real important or anything, eh?
