The video has gotten around--the one where the 6'2" x 190 lb. cop tasers a 5'0" 90 lb. granny.
Sure makes Scalia's "new professionalism" look more like old Bull Connors.

I'm torn here over how to react. Yes, she was old, yada yada yada. She was also insubordinate to his requests. Would you prefer he subdue her with his billy club?
Further, cops don't know what people are going to do anymore. Look at tje two recent shootings both directed at police (or security) in Milwaukee and Washington DC.
Don't get me wrong - I do feel that cops step over the line however this could have ended much worse.
Oh, I don't know, Anthony. Maybe the cop could have given her the ticket to sign, like she asked! (What a novel idea!!) Is there some Procedural LAW that demands she MUST sign the fucking ticket exactly where HE tells her to?
Please, Anthony. Be serious.
Yes, this was definitely over the top. The excuse that "she taunted him" is BS. If a cop has a knee-jerk reaction when someone says "I dare you" that doesn't show much training or professionalism.
Oh and Dad, I think you're generous in the "190 lbs" remark. That guy looked a lot bigger and bulkier than me and I go 210+...
The only defense I can see of the cop is that the woman almost ran into on coming traffic. Other than that, no.
