The Brookfield Central Graduation

What with all the sturm und drang...

The Senior Class Secretary welcomed the crowd to Elmbrook Church.

"Good afternoon, and welcome. Please open your hymbooks to #321, and we will all sing..."

The line got long and loud applause.

Later, the Class President admonished all of us to "Be Kind." He had gone through a bit of trouble to re-write a famous graduation speech, and went on in that vein, albeit lightly--eventually mentioning that the class should love their parents, for they don't know how long those parents would be around.

His father was killed in an auto accident mid-winter.

He re-stated, "Be Kind". Who could refuse?

The symphonic band was extremely good. The Senior Class song, sung by the dozen or so who graduated, was inspiring.

And they all left, friends in heart, for the next chapter.

Congrats to the class of 2009.

A day they will never forget.

It's good they had a good send off.

My goodness, didn't they automatically become Christians when the entered the Church? Did they join the congregation?
New Berlin looks like damn fools.
