The fantasy world of Net Zero is of course full of unintended consequences, but it is claimed that the abrupt 80% cut in sulphur dioxide emissions from international shipping in 2020 has accounted for 80% of global warming since the turn of the decade. Although the extra heat is described as “transient”, the warming is extraordinary and is expected to rise during the 2020s at a rate of 0.24°C a decade, 20% higher than the claimed warming trend since 1980.--quoted at AOSHQ
Face it: the climatistas have no idea what the Hell they're doing, have no idea of what the science actually is, and--frankly--they don't care. The objective has always been to bring humanity back to the 15th Century with a few exceptions of You-Know-Whos.
Does the new policy cost you money? Yes. Does it endanger ordinary life? Yes. Those are the only two considerations.

ReplyDeleteThey should take a look back at the temperature jump in the 1970's & 80's that caused the initial Global Warming scare. It coincides with the introduction of catalytic converters on cars and coal stack scrubbers. I always thought there was a link, but my correlation doesn't prove anything. Let NASA do the science to find out if this is what started the Climate Change fiasco.

P.S. It is now 25 years since Michael Mann published his fabricated hockey stick graph used to sell the lie that the earth has escaped the laws of physics and despite being imbedded within the cold of space, human use of natural resources was about to ignite terra flambé.
