Not something to be bragging about.
A new analysis by the international research think tank Tax Foundation shows which states in the nation collect the least and most taxes per capita as of fiscal year (FY) 2021, the most recent year for which full state-by-state data are available....
Wisconsin came in at 24th.
Not bragging territory, because Wisconsin (state and locals) extorted $5,698.00 in taxes for every living person in the State.
And Evers is fighting tooth-and-nail to keep those taxes high.
That's a lot of money for under-performing schools, pothole-filled roads, and--in the southeast corner--a helluva lot of crime-without-punishment.
