Jim Hoft at Gateway is over the edge on proposed election legislation.
We do not admire Lobbyist-Farmer/Manager Vos at all and we think he should step down.
But Hoft's assertions about the proposal do not make sense. Hoft claims that a judge declared drop-boxes illegal (true) but also claims that a NEW law making a few of them licit is somehow against the law. He further imagines a conspiracy based on Vos' circulating the proposal to the Senate. That's not exactly 'conspiracy.' It's typical legislating procedure.
Huh?
The proposal is perfectly sound--assuming you agree that absentee and/or early voting is just peachy-keen. I do not, but that ship sailed.
Maybe Jim should catch up on his sleep without the little boy he "married."
