Last night, Fox6 presented an interesting story about Sheboygan County's courthouse. It seems that the County just installed metal-detectors at the entrances and have confiscated a few dozen knives, brass knuckles, and a loaded handgun magazine among other things.
That collection only took them about 30 days.
The reporter (and the deputy on the scene) were near-hysterical about the Horrific. Dangers. These. People. Have. To. Face. Every. Day.
Pearls were clutched, and the fainting-couch was nearby just in case.
*Cough* Yah, but......
If you've paid attention to the news for the last several years (or several decades), you'll have noticed that there has NEVER been a weapons-related incident in the Sheboygan County Courthouse (at least not one publicly reported.)
But it's the duty of "news" organizations to .......whatever. Slow news day, eh?
