Evidently Rubio intends to out-do Walker on the "lay down and take it" game.
Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio said Wednesday he would
oppose a constitutional amendment allowing states to ban same-sex
marriage after the Supreme legalized it nationwide, even though he
disagrees with the landmark 5-4 decision.
Well (as observed at the link) he COULD have said that an Amendment would not pass--which is exactly why Walker favors that "solution." At least that would have been honest.
But then Rubio gets even stupider!!
...“I don’t support a constitutional amendment. I don’t believe the federal
government should be in the marriage regulation business,” the Florida
senator told reporters...
Perhaps Rubio was under the influence of something. That is easily the most confused statement on the matter since Kennedy's Ode to Delusion, which is called 'the majority opinion' on Obergefell.
Oh, well. Most actual Conservatives won't miss him.
