Brian Steil does not want any more Fake and Ghey elections.
Wisconsin Congressman Bryan Steil revealed Thursday, Jan. 29, his bill that could reshape U.S. elections.
The statement released Thursday says that the new bill, named Make Elections Great Again or MEGA Act, will "improve voter confidence, bolster election integrity and make it easy to vote but hard to cheat."
It highlights eight key reforms:
- Require photo identification to vote
- Require states to verify citizenship of individuals when registering to vote
- Implement stronger routine voter list maintenance requirements in states
- Require mail-in ballots to be received by the close of polls on election day
- Require states to use auditable paper ballots
- Ban ballot harvesting
- Ban ranked choice voting
- Ban universal vote by mail
Gee. Sorta like voting was from the founding until about 1980 or so.
Tony Evers will join a lawsuit to disembowel the bill as soon as his Widdle Feets allow.

Banking rank choice is dumb. That is up to the state.

And restricting a specific voting type that a state may want is bad policy. Sure, make it "illegal" for federal positions. But a blanket ban is really dumb and anti state regulation.
