"Affordability"? Of WHAT??

Yes, "affordability" is a made-up crock of ..........hooey.

But making up crocks of hooey is what Democrats do.  

The "affordability" crock really consists of two MAJOR elements:  housing/rent cost, and healthcare cost.  There are MINOR elements, too, principally the cost of electric energy.

As to the MAJOR costs:  they are Democrat-caused stinking piles of "hooey.".

1)  Housing and rental costs are up because Biden and Obama before hm let TWENTY MILLION PEOPLE into the country.  They have to live somewhere, and since many States provided a lot of free money for food and housing, well.......they rented at higher and higher prices.  A knock-on:  housing prices--as many of them purchased houses.  Demand up?  Prices follow.  A minor but significant contributor?  Regulation-caused cost increases.

2)  Healthcare?  Can you spell O-B-A-M-A-C-A-R-E??  Even some Democrats now admit that it is a disaster--exactly as it was designed to be.  The real objective (Nationalized Health Care) never came into being because the voters would not stand for it, so the damn thing is stillborn but paying insurance companies for coverages that are...........bullshit.  (Mandated pregnancy coverage for men, e.g.).

The MINOR cause?  Energy prices.  The Democrats got rich by pushing "green" crapola--windmills and sun-catchers which are damned expensive but only work part-time.  Utilities bought that crap at the point of a gun and are charging you for it.  REALLY charging you for it.  So they are happy and will never tell you that you're being screwed by the "green/Democrat" bunch, because the utilities got theirs, too.

Side-note:  when Biden came into office, the price of petroleum jumped.  When Trump came in, the price has gone down--steadily.

"Affordability" is just another Democrat scam-text.  They make s**t up and force-feed you the stuff if you're stupid enough to take it.
