In case you still don't know this, Tony Evers is verging on Joe (The Cabbage) Biden's mental territory. Watch any live (not scripted) interview and see Evers grasping for words. He has given up his desk and pen to his....ummmnnnhhh....rather odd .....Chief of Staff who lives the Fat Life in Madison.
Anyhow.
Desperate for approval numbers, Tony issued an Executive Order!!
He bans "Price Gouging".
Uh-huh. Yup. Another card in the Left's very small deck, intended to smear store-owners (all Republicans, of course) for their horrible rrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaccccccccissssssssssssss ways.
The order was written by an Evers aide who doesn't understand Econ 101. In that chapter of Econ, real-life people learned that only a shortage of X can produce "price gouging on X." But with the Democrat-caused starvation-show, food is abundant because the Democrats prevent people from buying it.
There is no "shortage," of foodstuffs, and there cannot be "price gouging" there.
However, it is possible that peeps who have leftover welfare-food benefits will price-gouge by selling those benefits to someone else.
But do you really think that Evers & Co. will prosecute in that instance?
