Can Mike Lawler (R-NY) Be Serious?

Nice to know that Rep Lawler thinks criminals should be prosecuted.

Monday on CNN’s “News Central,” Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) said the controversy over Jeffrey Epstein was a “colossal waste of time and effort.”

Lawler said, “Look, as I’ve said, I’m not exactly one to subscribe to conspiracy theories. So from my vantage point, if somebody committed a crime, if somebody affiliated with Jeffrey Epstein committed a crime, they should be prosecuted. In the absence of that, frankly, this seems like a colossal waste of time and effort and, frankly, a lot of nonsense. There are a lot of issues facing this country right now, a dead pedophile ain’t one of them.”...

So the "waste of time" centers only on trivia such as "Who paid Epstein" and "Why did they pay him."

Nothing to see there.  Move along.

OK, Mike:  where are the prosecutions of the kiddie-rapists?  Hmmmmmm?????

  1. There are two reasons to know what happened with Epstein. Justice for the victims and knowing which government officials were compromised.

    1. Even if that means exposing Trump? Dad29 is quiet on that matter.

  2. One of the victim's lawyers said he never found any evidence Trump was involved in Epstein's activities.

    1. Who was that? Why be purposely vague? Something to hide?

  3. Mike Lawler received
    $639,253.00. From AIPAC
    More than his congressional salary.

    AIPAC

    * AIPAC — the American Israel Public Affairs Committee — is a tax-exempt 501(c)(4) non-profit group that lobbies for strong U.S.-Israel relations and pro-Israel policies.
AIPAC’s board members are listed here (pages 7-8). These are some of the infamous AIPAC “babysitters” that roam the halls of Congress and twist the arms of our elected officials.

    * AIPAC PAC is the group’s political action committee used to raise funds and directly contribute to candidates who align with their pro-Israel agenda.
In short, AIPAC focuses on lobbying and advocacy, while AIPAC PAC focuses on direct financial support for political candidates.
