But WarPig forgets that the House also has to agree. The identical legislation is before the House, but......
...........only fifty-one Congressmen have co-sponsored.

So far, zero Wisconsin Republicans have signed on.

ReplyDeleteThere are at least 40,000 confirmed dead in Gaza with expert projections of up to 186,000 Palestinians who have died or will die as a result of Israel’s unrelenting assault on Gaza. Millions of Palestinians have been forcibly displaced and driven to famine, while Israel has deliberately targeted hospitals, schools, and aid stations with air strikes.
To accept campaign contributions from AIPAC is to choose to be complicit in these crimes.

ReplyDeleteIs the argument that Israel isn't perpetrating war crimes because what they are doing is a siege? A siege being an historical way of conducting war against people living inside a walled city. Cut off food and water and wait for the population to surrender or die. A practice so historical it is in the Bible and if it is in the Bible it must be ... good?
Is the argument that Israel is innocent of terrorism because they are engaged in a military operation, and a military operation can't be terrorism? A civilian with an explosive suicide vest can be a terrorist, but an airman dropping bombs on civilian infrastructure, from the personal safety of his airplane, is simply a good government employee doing his honest days work.

The Irish Times said an “Israeli attack in Rafah near aid distribution point kills at least 31 people,” adding that according to medics, an Israeli tank had fired into a crowd of “thousands of people en route to get aid.”
Noticing Israel’s crimes is therefore antisemitic, repeating toxic tropes of child murder — and reports of the intentional killing of civilians simply enemy propaganda. This is the line that Israel fights in its media war. If this week has proven anything, it is that Israel’s frontline media defense has collapsed.
