Umnnnhhhh.....it's entirely likely that The Donald is doing what he does best: keeping the press focused on something while he gets another thing done. You can learn that on the streets of New York. It's called the shell game.
It's also possible that the two strongest egos in the world came into conflict. Duh.

Remember, ultimately the goal is for the removal of President Trump no matter what that takes; and yes, the billionaire tech bros are willing to use their financial resources to upend the 2026 midterm election in order to achieve their larger objective, control retention over policy.
