Most of you 39 readers know that the "intel community" (CIA, FBI, DNI, et.al.) has been extremely influential in both foreign and domestic policy for the USA since--probably--before JFK. (Killing him off kept the CIA and all the rest empowered for another 60+ years.) That control was partially due to the CIA's authorship of the President's Daily Briefing. Since TWO "86" attempts on Trump have failed the "intel community" continued to provide their preferred narrative to the President.
Not only did Rubio cut about half the employees from the National Security Agency, but Tulsi Gabbard made two very important changes.
... just a few days before Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, took control of the National Intelligence Council (NIC) away from the CIA, Gabbard also made a move that is just as consequential and directly related....
Which was to rip the President's Daily Briefing out of the CIA, placing it directly under Gabbard as DNI.

...It is pretty clear now the NIC was in the middle of a domestic Intelligence Community operation against the Trump administration when Tulsi Gabbard intercepted it (we hope with support from CIA Director John Ratcliffe, but we are not sure). {GO DEEP} It is clear from the comments by SoS/NSA Rubio, that several media outlets were poised and awaiting leaks from the NIC in anticipation of fulfilling their role to advance the operation. [SEE HERE] DNI Gabbard essentially quashed their plan....
At the bottom of the link to this story, Gabbard appears on Fox News. At the very end of that video, Gabbard warns that the "Intel Community" (which includes "86" Comey) is likely to begin lying again about various Trump officials, and Trump.
