Meantime, in Palestine
There are 2 million people attempting to live here. At least 2 hospitals have been destroyed by Israel, and it is said that Israel continues (7 weeks now) a food/emergency supply/water blockade.
Steve Witkoff’s attitude is that the Palestinians and Hamas are impossible to negotiate with and are basically not people. They are not made in the image of God so next em.
Witkoff is uniquely unqualified for the job of a diplomat between Israel, USA, and Palestine and AIPAC
Please don’t believe me, rather listen to this interview by Tucker Carlson and ask your self if this is the sort of diplomat that will bring us the peace of Christ in the world as we know the peace of Israel is no peace at all. Tucker Carlson did not do himself a favor in this interview. Please listen.
It's been a bloody war. The numbers still don't support anything like a claim of genocide. There have been 50,810 Palestinians killed -- according to their own numbers -- since the war started in 2023. That's 2.5% of the population of Gaza, leaving 97.5% of them alive after a year and a half of "genocide."
Looking at the Palestinians more broadly, of Palestinians within Israel the percentage drops to 1.25%; looking at Palestinians total, half that again (0.625%). It's a very inefficient genocide that leaves ~99% of its alleged targets alive after a year and a half of effort.
I don't think even Israel's worst enemies consider them to be ineffective or inefficient killers, so the hypothesis that they are engaged in a genocide doesn't work out.
I had in fact expected to see genuine ethnic cleansing in Gaza, and the simple expulsion of all of the residents (perhaps into the Sinai or into Jordan). Israel hasn't even done that.
By contrast, in neighboring Syria Assad expelled 7 Million and internally displaced another 7 Million (and without the claim that he was committing genocide or ethnic cleansing by doing so). He did so with chemical weapons, which Israel hasn't used, and without any sort of discrimination as to his targets being civilians or militants. Yet he was welcomed home to Mother Russia when they could no longer support him continuing the war.
And the world turns its eyes away from the genocide…. i’m sorry the genocide is real and it’s there.
ReplyDeleteI know bloggers who think that the genocide is justifiable
Their hearts are stone cold.

Oh, and by the way, Israel hates us and will continue to stab us in the back.

Isn’t this genocide the worst thing to happen to the Palestinian people in Gaza and their history?
