Yesterday we were looking for the results of the NCAA football playoffs.
The first item that arose was a graphic with the TOP FOUR RANKED football teams:
1) Oregon
2) Georgia
3) Texas
4) Penn State
Experts picked those teams, and experts ranked them.
Yah, well.........none of them won their last game. Not one.
Does Fauci also pick NCAA teams?
Georgia didn't win its last game, but its quarterback was injured in the game immediately prior and was out for the season. The kid who stood in for him had never started in a game before, and his first opportunity was in the Quarterfinals.
ReplyDeleteThat, though, is Georgia's coach's fault. Kirby should have given the kid a chance to stretch his wings before he had to be thrown in the furnace.
It's been a crazy year for college ball, though, as you know from reading my occasional comments on it. I felt like this year I couldn't be sure of anything. Vanderbilt vs. Alabama is usually a conga line of Alabama touchdowns, but not this year! Georgia Tech was unranked going into the game vs Georgia, and it went to eight overtimes. At least it wasn't boring.
