Indiana, Tell the Judge To Fly a Kite

There is a famous line from Andrew Jackson:  “[Chief Justice] John Marshall has made his decision, now let him enforce it!”

That line may be apocryphal, but the State of Indiana should use it.

Indiana will be forced to pay for a sex change operation for a trans-identified male prisoner who is serving time for the murder of a baby. United States District Court for Southern Indiana Judge Richard Young ruled that Autumn CordellionĂ©, born Jonathan C. Richardson, was a victim of “cruel and unusual punishment” when a gender transition surgery was denied, according to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), which pressed the lawsuit.

Young ordered the Department of Corrections to make the surgery available to Cordellioné as soon as possible....

Ignore the judge.  You have no right to mutilate prisoners, nor do you have the right to take tax money for that purpose.
