Kinda sad, but reflective of "journalism" today: Wisconsin Right Now swallowed--hook, line, and sinker--the bafflegarb BS of a very confused TeeeeVeeee doctor. Have they learned nothing from the Fraudci experience?
Then they wrote a lengthy essay which is even more confused and confusing, not to mention poorly edited.
Here's what they propose:
The Olympics should establish a clear and transparent protocol for sex testing.
Sounds good, right? Oh, but you haven't seen the BS yet. Here's where that starts:
...The actual truth is that a lot is still not known about Khelif’s biology....
And (quoting a children's hospital site):
... “Differences of sex development (DSD) describes a group of conditions that occur early in pregnancy in which sex development is not typical. Some people may use different words to describe this, such as intersex, or use the name of the actual condition.”...
Yah, but nope.
Have "Y" chromosome? You're a boy. Period. You can have 13 "Xs" along with that "Y", but the "Y" will give you a far different bone-mass picture along with a far different body-mass alignment.
Nuance in the case of sex-determination is crap, and "journalists" should know better.
Wiggle Waggle, bah, humbug.
I think you got that backwards.
ReplyDeleteAll humans have 'X' chromosomes.
Men have 'Y' chromosomes.
