Remember When.....?

Only 10 years ago (or so), Wisconsin Electric bragged that its rate/KWh was among the lowest in the country.

Well, then.

Getting acquired by an Illinois outfit and kissing the Green Weenie of sun-catchers and windmills have done something!

WE now charges about 20 cents/KWh, which is about 3 cents HIGHER than the national averageThat's also more than the rate in Chicago.  But don't dare suggest that WE customers are subsidizing Chicago customers!

And they're going for more as we type

The Wisconsin Public Service Commission should be ashamed, but they're not.  They're in Madison, a town--like D.C.--which does not know the meaning of that word.
