Lefty SCOWI Judge Quitting
Ann Walsh Bradley will bail out of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Good.
But PLEASE, GOD: DON'T LET KELLY RUN AGAIN!!! O J Simpson could defeat him.
You may not like to hear this but I voted for my former coworker and it wasn't Dan Kelly.
It was not a matter of ideology but of competence (and that's not saying much).
Dan spoke to a group of lawyers and gave a condescending stump speech. Think of Bill Gates showing up at a meeting of software engineers and talking like he was at the Rotary Club.
There wasn't much of a choice and I wasn't happy about either. I would like to see a REAL scholarly judge run, someone who calls 'em as he sees 'em based on the law, not ideology. We have not had one of those justices in a long time.
We can't and shouldn't have one-party rule, regardless of which party it is.
I'd like to see the next justice be a middle of the road, nonpartisan scholar who will keep both sides in check. They need it.

ReplyDeleteI don't think OJ is worthy of this enterprise.

It was that painful.
Are you still in the Fox Valley?
ReplyDeleteYah. It's great when he's talking to grade school kids, and he can continue that while being a small-town lawyer.
But voting for HER? Really???
No, Kenosha County.
