Almost everyone in Washington thinks they are in a Sacred Temple and that the peasantry must offer continuous sacrifices and oblations to feed the Priests and Priestesses.
High Priest Johnson, Speaker of The Temple, is right in that crowd.
While speaking on "Face the Nation," Johnson tells host Margaret Brennan that he will not wield the leverage of a government shutdown to try to force a deal that pushes for stricter enforcement....
Terrorists, narco-cartels, rapists, drunken-driver/killers, members of foreign armies, .........whatever.
I, the High Priest Johnson, shall let them in as a pestilence-punishment upon you miserable restive peasants.
Yah, well, Mike, the restive peasantry might just get a bit more.......ahh.......restive.
