Ace of Spades comments on the former Senate aide who actually published a video of himself doing the perversion. Inadvertently, he comments on Franny 1's recent gay-affirming and the ineffable lightness of comments from the USCC and Apb. Listecki.
...Gays cannot be challenged or disciplined for any reason. They can only be Affirmed and Celebrated for their choices at all times by all people.
Someone remarked that this guy is exactly what you get when you do nothing but treat gay kids differently -- treat them as delicate flowers which must always be affirmed and attended to. ...gays sometimes do things that aren't worthy of praise and celebration.
And certainly he was never told that sometimes, they do things that are worthy of scorn, opprobrium, and official consequences....
Except in FrannyChurch.
By the way, in recent history:
Pope Francis has said that he thinks same-sex couples should be allowed to have "civil unions".
He made the comments, which observers say are his clearest remarks yet on gay relationships, in a documentary directed by Evgeny Afineevsky.
"Homosexual people have a right to be in a family," he said in the film, which premiered on Wednesday.
"They are children of God and have a right to a family. Nobody should be thrown out or made miserable over it.
"What we have to create is a civil union law. That way they are legally covered." ...
The Faithful are not blind, deaf, and dumb. There is a clear pattern to Franny 1's remarks and positions on homosexuals. And it is NOT consistent with Church doctrine or tradition. His assertion that homosexual couples 'have a right' to a family is completely, totally, wrong, and the 'wrongness' offends beginning with Genesis right through the papacy of Benedict XVI.
One hopes that Franny 1 repents before his death.

ReplyDelete“As the Sacred Scripture says, the Sodomites were wicked and exceedingly sinful. Saint Peter and Saint Paul condemn this nefarious and depraved sin. In fact, the Scripture denounces this enormous indecency thus: ‘The scandal of Sodomites and Gomorrhans has multiplied and their sins have become grave beyond measure.’ So the angels said to just Lot, who totally abhorred the depravity of the Sodomites: ‘Let us leave this city….’ Holy Scripture does not fail to mention the causes that led the Sodomites, and can also lead others, to this most grievous sin. In fact, in Ezechiel we read: ‘Behold this was the iniquity of Sodom: pride, fullness of bread, and abundance, and the idleness of her, and of her daughters: and they did not put forth their hand to the needy, and the poor. And they were lifted up, and committed abominations before me; and I took them away as thou hast seen’ (Ezech. 16: 49-50).
Those unashamed of violating divine and natural law are slaves of this never sufficiently execrated depravity.”

Homosexuals are a class which cannot be criticized, which must be praised. I made a comment a week ago on a You Tube story about the governor of Colorado, who claims to be a homo. (I am certain that he is.) But I said, "Maybe he is lying." You Tube gave me a warning that I would not be allowed to comment at all if I made another such comment.
